Our curriculum primarily follows three activities: case studies, projects, and interactive activities. 

 Case studies: These are organized as pre-researched lesson plans that walk students through contemporary technological dilemmas to introduce the thinking processes and main concepts used in studying cybernetics. Case studies have students analyze a current event as a group, identifying the problem, learning about the technology behind it, and brainstorming potential solutions. Some examples of current issues include Predictive Policing, Targeted Advertising, Polarizing Media, Privacy In the Modern Age, Optimizing for the Collective Good, and more.

Projects

Projects: With inspiration from the Australian National University's School of Cybernetics' own projects, students, for each project, are given thought provoking themes, questions, and nearly full autonomy. Utilizing the skills cultivated from case studies and other early activities, students may choose their own topic of choice and research it using an optional framework.  Projects can be presented, given feedback, and revamped. These are meant to allow students to learn more about subjects they are passionate about, engage in self-directed learning, and consider technological dilemmas under new light. 

Interaction: Other pieces of the curriculum are smaller interactive, group activities. These can include Socratic Dialogues, debates, simulations, and more to solidify understanding and explore novel concepts in engaging ways.
